Milestone 3

Summary

In this stage we created four Personas to help us identify our target audience. These personas are based on real potential users that we interviewed for our Milestone One-Contextual Inquiry:

Process

Our personas work in many industries and have different levels of responsibility within their companies. They represent people who are active contributors to a meeting, people who fail to present opinions because they have an introverted personality, people who have a secretary or proxy to assist them with meetings, and people who miss important meetings.

After adding personal details to each character, we highlighted the problems and anxieties each Persona faces on a regular basis, and developed Scenarios to address each situation. We included our design ideas of electronic whiteboard usage, audio recording of meetings for later search and retrieval, collaborative notes sharing platform and custom configuration for a standard meeting in these scenarios.

After feedback from our peers, we made some revisions to our Personas and Scenarios. We made them more diverse in terms of their ages and ethnicity and shortened their profiles and scenarios so that we could convey our ideas more clearly. The Personas Comparison Chart that we made originally had many holes in it so we updated it and included it on this page (you can download the original here):
